Join Our Team as a Vascular Access Nurse!

Fulltime: Days

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM (No call, no weekends)

As a Vascular Access Nurse at Sovah Health Danville, you will play a crucial role in:

• Inserting, troubleshooting, and assessing vascular access devices, including PICC lines, midlines, and ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs.
• Coordinating with physicians and nurses to ensure patients receive the appropriate access based on clinical indications and best practices.

In this role, you will:

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care tailored to the condition and age of the patient.
• Document medical necessity in the medical record promptly and accurately.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conduct timely and accurate Quality Improvement assessments.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A current VA RN license.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience is highly preferred.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Successful completion of a PICC insertion program.
• A minimum of 6 months of PICC insertion experience.
